Flushing Background-Tasks

    Hey!

So I found out this is a known issue. You can find how to troubleshoot it here.

The following steps will resolve the issue of Traktor freezing on Quit with the "Flushing Background Tasks" message.
    1. Quit Traktor
    2. Navigate to Documents > Native Instruments
    3. Move the folder Traktor 4.x.x (whatever version they are on) to the desktop
    4. Launch Traktor
    5. Answer "no" to copying the settings and track collection from the previous version
    6. Open Traktor's Preferences and click the Import Button at the bottom
    7. Navigate to the Desktop > Traktor 4.x.x (folder they copied to the desktop) and select Traktor Settings.tsi
    8. Put check marks in all the boxes and click OK.
    9. Right click on Track Collection and select "Import Another Collection".
    10. Navigate to the Desktop > Traktor 4.x.x (folder they copied to the desktop) and select Collection.nml
    11. When asked, select "File Tags"
    12. Quit Traktor when the collection has been imported and the issue should no longer occur.

If you want help you should also provide information about the hardware, OS and software you are using. So far we only know that it is Traktor Pro 4.

    Hi,

I have the same problem with Traktor Pro3 on Mac OS 13.5; M2 Pro. I use an external SSD. Never had the problem before. After 20 min. Traktor freezes and I cannot exit. I have to do a hard exit. I see the same message: flushing background tasks. I thought I will simply update to 4 Pro but now I see that there is the same problem. Anny suggestions what to do? Especially regarding the sudden freeze of the system after 20 min. I tried different SSDs same problem.

    Thanks for advice
