KK Window size

The KK window is still not scaleable. Toontrack have now made all their interfaces scaleable. Surely NI could do the same. The Komplete Kontrol window is far too small and becomes increasingly difficult to read as my eyesight ages. We are not all 16 years old!

Komplete Kontrol 3 is a shell, that hosts plug-ins.

It is those plug-ins themselves that dictate resizing behavior to KK3.

In other words, if the plug-in you're hosting supports resizing, KK3 resizes around it.

How about just giving us an option to maximise the window like just about every other application?

Well maybe these plug-ins should be adapted to do so. This behaviour is rather passé I feel.

Couple things - firstly - comparing the world of NKS Plugins and KK to the three to five UIs that Toontrack maintains - is not even a comparison.

And - who is going to take on the task of asking every vendor of every NKS compatible plugin out there to just drop what they are doing and assign time, talent and resource to adapt all their plugins so they resize properly in KK?

Bearing in mind - "every plugin" means every one. Like something from 2016 to something I bought last week. And all others in between. You can see how this is not ever going to happen.

Nah, just maximize the app window to have patch list showing more than few patches if plugin GUI is small and leave the plugin GUI as it is.

That's not within our control - Komplete Kontrol is a host. The thousands of plug-ins you may use are almost all made by other companies.

As @Maciej Repetowski points out… the bits of KK we control, such as the Browser, are fully resizeable.

i thought Session Guitarist was one of your plug-ins. That is pretty small on screen. Smaller now I think than on the earlier iteration of KK.

The entire Session Guitar series is a collaboration with Drumasonic.

So essentially a third party instrument series that currently features non-scalable raster based graphics dating back at least 5 years or more.

In order for any of this series to be 100% scalable in KK - all the instruments would need to have their UIs completely rewritten to take full advantage of the new Komplete UI framework.

Time, talent and resource required for this = unknown.
