Seriel number issues with s88 Mk3

Hey there! First time on this… Just purchased the s88 Mk3. Un boxed, first thing to do is put serial number in which is displayed on the screen and provided on a little card that comes with the keyboard… The serial number they give me does not work. Tried all the options on the support list…nothing… Is this a typical issue with this keyboard? Right out of the box?

    You might want to look at the bottom of the unit that has the serial number on a metal plate and make sure you have the right serial number.

    Yep, that's right. Get the serial number off the bottom of the unit. If that doesn't work, then you may need to have a word with the person who sold it to you.

    The seller applies for a transfer ID when selling and gives that to you which you enter here;

    You are then registered as the owner of the keyboard and I believe you both get to keep the software suite that comes with it as well
