UmanskyBass crashes Pro Tools

I just got UmanskyBass and upon trying to load it in Pro Tools using Kontakt 7 Player, it crashes Pro Tools completely and closes it out automatically. I'm using Pro Tools 2021.06 on a perpetual license and have seen some answers saying that you need to update Pro Tools. Upgrades are very expensive, so I'd prefer to not have to, but if I have to, I'll figure it out. Is that the only solution to make UmanskyBass run on Kontakt or is there another way? I tried using it in GarageBand and it worked just fine.
