Analog Outs 1&2 Much Quieter than 3&4 - Komplete Audio 6 MK2
Hi All,
Setting up Traktor Pro4 with Komplete Audio 6 MK2 on Macbook Sonomo / Intel.
Routing a Traktor Deck A to analog out 1&2, and Deck B to analog out 3&4.
Outs 1&2 are MUCH Quieter than 3&4. Sounds like there is a -12 gain reduction on channels 1&2.
Firmware is updated. There is no control panel to manage these levels or see if gain reduction is on anywhere.
I cannot use this interface for DJing as is.
Any thoughts, anyone?
Thanks in advance,
_Dylan

@MicroD I did a quick check with a test tone. Outputs 1,2,3 & 4 all have the same output.
The Komplete audio 6MK2 does not have a control panel (i saw your other post, will delete it as it's the same issue). So you need to check the settings within the Audio MIDI setup of your Mac, found in Applications → Utilities. There you can check volume of all outputs:

Hey Jeremy, thanks for the reply.
I have tried this utility, but all I see is the screen shot you sent, and none of the parameters can be changed. It's just set to that and there is no way to change anything.
When I run one Traktor deck out to channels 1&2 it is much quieter than 3&4. I am trying to run Traktor to a Pioneer mixer instead of turntables, which was no problem with the old Audio 2DJ.
How do I access any type of control over this from the utility panel?
Thanks!

You are right, there's no way to control the parameters in this panel. If everything looks the same as what i posted, the issue is probably coming from somwhere else. Are you able to determaine if this is happening only within Traktor? If you use a video, a sample or test tone to these outputs do you also get a difference in gain? If you plug the soundcard to another computer do you experience the same difference? If so that would indicate a hardware problem.

I have tested this on different channels of an Allen & Heath DJ mixer. Against different Traktor decks (a,b,c,d). On two different Macbooks. On both Traktor versions 3&4. With different cables. Through the headphone jack.
But always channels 1&2 have at least a -12db gain reduction compared to 3&4.
My Audio 6 MK2 is new, and I've been doing this a long time, so I know it shouldn't be this problematic to get two channels from Traktor to a mixer, with equal gain.
So, it almost feels like a hardware problem with the MK2. I just bought a MOTU M4 to be delivered soon, so if that works then I'm likely gonna dump the Komplete on ebay or something. Unless NI has a pathway to help get this squared away.
Thanks!

Ok so it seems that you only tested with Traktor, that's why I suggested to try with different software, see if the issue could come from the software vs the hardware soundcard.
