    • New Kontrol Z1 espected?

    Hello everyone,

    I recently bought a Traktor X1 and a KOMPLETE AUDIO 1. However, I'm thinking of getting a Kontrol Z1, but this device has been on the market for several years and since Native recently updated the X1, is it likely that the Z1 will also be updated?

      I don't think so. They are maintaining what is already consolidated.

      You cloud just but the Z1 used to save a couple of bucks.

      You could also get a Xone K2 and map it to your liking.

      I don’t know if it has been on the Ni homepage for a long time but I stumbled over the description for the Z1. It says that it has a touch strip to control tracks and touch sensitive knobs for looping.
      mine doesn’t have those two features. It is on the German and the English version of the website (DJ gear - DJ Controllers at the very bottom of the page).

      would be awesome. Just fell in love with the Z1 recently :)

      This is plainly a mistake. There are a lot of wrong elements in many of the descriptions on this page. The editor of this overview must have had a bad day or didn't know much about the products. No currently available NI DJ controller has touch strips nor does the Z1 have FX Unit controls, which is what the X1 is for.

      the funny thing though is the fact, that the description on the dedicated z1 page (which is also hyperlinked in the infotext which I screenshotted) states the exact features of the current z1.
      may be a hiccup but still would be cool and would be a justification for the drop of the touch strip on the X1mk3 :)

      My guess is that refreshed Z1 will come.
