Looking to use Machine FX as plug in effects on a logic pro 10.5 channel strip

I've instantiated the mashinefx as a plug in and switched the first track in group A to an audio track, and switched the input monitor to on. I can hear the track going through, but no plug ins work like that, either as "group" or "sound" plug ins. Has anyone got this to work? There are some nice plug ins in Maschine that native instruments don't make available as stand-alone, so be nice to use them.

Hey @glenskin the Maschine effects can only be applied to pre-recorded audio, it's not possible to apply it to a "live" tracks or on the input monitoring when recording. The workaround would be to record first and add the effect afterwards.

Ha, I thought as much. Thanks, Jeremy for the quick answer. Can I suggest NI make some of the Mashine plugs such as Ice and Grain delay available as separate plugins?

I'll forward the idea to the developers ;)
