NI X1 MK3 - included Traktor Pro 3 License

Hi all,

I've got a question about the TP3 License, that should be included, when buying the X1 MK3.

As I own a Pro License already, I'd like to give the License to someone else. So far so good 😀

Here comes the question: where do I find the serial number? To be honest, I'm wondering a bit, how this actually works… I have registrated the MK3 controller with the serial number, that comes with the controller via Native Access. So right now, it appears in my account.
Is that serial number the one to be used to unlock TP3 ?? 🧐😉

Does someone know the answer to that question? 🙏

It just influences if you can fully utilize TP or if you can only start it in demo mode. If you transfer it, you will need to activate your x1 license. Search the NI site with the term 'license' for details.

The TP3 serial that comes with the x1 is bound to the device (yes it unlocks the software). You have to sell your other license.

Ok, then I'd transfer my own license, that's "transferable".
Is the old license linked to any settings, mappings or preferences that I created over the years? Or can I simply switch licenses and the import my mappings, collections etc. ? 😬
