DJM 750 MK1 replacement

I want to replace my DJM 750 MK1, the Color FX Knob is dead and I had already sent it in years ago to have some faders and knobs replaced.
I would like to replace it before anything else breaks.
I currently use
DDJ SP1, which I would also like to exchange for a DDJ-XP2 as one of the encoders is also broken.
DJM 750 MK1
2x Stanton turntable
2x Denon LC6000

The DJM 750 MK2 has neither Bitcrush nor Sliproll.
The FLX10 does not allow beat FX in Traktor without an extra sound card and the crossfader curve apparently cannot be set for turntables
The DJM A9 has no sliproll

Personally, I'm a big fan of Traktor, but I don't really like the software FX. That's why I'd like to use the hardware FX from Pioneer.

What options do I have?

In addition, my turntables in Traktor currently have relatively strong synchronization fluctuations, so I should find out the reason for this or replace them soon. Maybe someone has a tip for me there too. As I'm currently primarily using the LC6000 and playing more real vinyl, this is not a priority at the moment. I also have two SC2900s, but the cue and play buttons are finished there and i want to use 4 Decks again without switching.

I also have the feeling that you are relatively limited at the moment with Traktor as far as the choice of devices is concerned, which I find quite sad.

Best regards

    Xone PX5 maybe?

Or if really want the exact FX you have now, maybe buy a use 750 mk1 again?

I don't really like the software FX.

Relatively limited at the moment with Traktor

All the devices with build in FX also work on Traktor, no?

Xone PX5 looks and sounds really nice ofc, but i am looking for Pioneer Club Gear because because I don't always want to lug my mixer around with me.

DJM 750MK1/800/900NXS/SRT/NXS2 have everything i need, but these are no longer being built.

And I'm not going to buy a 10 year old used mixer when my 10 year old used mixer is slowly dying.

No Hardware FX on Pioneer Controllers in Traktor, its limited to Serato, Recordbox and Line/Phono in.

You can theoretically work around this with a Traktor A10 interface, but there is no A10 anymore, let alone any interface and you lose the fader + crossfader curve functionality as this is also mapped via software.

Sorry for the rant but I just have to let it out...
What I mean by relatively limited, you used to have everything with Traktor in 2012-2015, really everything.
CDJ2000/+Nexus waveforms, Denon SC2900/3900 even SC3700 waveforms via the HC4500 support etc.

Today I look for new models such as SC6000 -> no display support, LC6000 not even jog wheel support, the same applies to virtually all Denon controllers.
FLX10 and almost all Pioneer controllers no display support, no fader curve or isolator EQ in standalone mode, no hardware FX, but all of these work in/with Serato and Recordbox.
Pioneer devices can also only be used to a limited extent and if controllers then without HID, i.e. bad jog wheels.
Even Denon Players like SC2900/SC3900 had Hybrid Midi with DVS in 2012 → perfect Jog-Wheels.
From Native Instruments itself there is only the S4 MK3, which is not enough for me. S8, D2, Z2, A8/A10 all gone. And dont get me wrong here again, i dont need NI to build 10 hardware devices, but then you have to support something, not 10 devices, but at least something from other manufacturers… And i dont care if its Pioneer or Denon…

But dont get me wrong, Traktor Layout is just so much better then Serator or Recordbox, i still have hope for Traktor Stems, i just dont like how Serator behaves and feels… I am a Traktor user for over 12 Years now, i dont want to switch, but the hardware selection for Traktor is razor thin...

If i spend like 3+ grands on a new Setup after 10-12 years i want something new that still has future and this is pretty hard to find with Traktor in mind that isnt worse then my old gear. Back in 2015 i could call Native Instruments Berlin and they told me what to buy in like 3 minutes, today you cant even call them anymore. 1 Star review on google whats up threre? :( For example i can call Denon, Pioneer, everyone, but NI - silence…

With your requirements nothing really springs to my mind. I think Xone:PX5 is a solid suggestion. Yes you will find Pioneer DJ gear in most clubs but does this really matter? Are you today bringing your DJM-750 Mk1 to gigs if you get a DJM-A9 without sliproll?

I think you have to sacrifice one or two of your requirements. Otherwise your choice reduces effectively to zero. Maybe a used DJM-900nxs2 is an option last units are not much more than a year old by now and still far away from 10 years. Or if you can sacrifice the sliproll effect DJM-A9 could be the solution.

Yes you are right and no I never had an A9 there…

It just bothers me that the FLX10 has no Traktor support because it would be much more flexible for mobile Setups and it would have all the Features if it would work…

I think I do „fear“ the A9 because it looks so huge and I could get like two more Denon LC or two Turntables for that money.
But yes, I think 750MK2 won’t make me happy, and A7 is not on the horizon so A9 really seems to be the way to go.
To be for real, I don’t even use real Vinyl in Clubs so I don’t use Sliproll there but it was such a good feature at home vor Vinyl because you cannot use the SP1 there.

Nexus 2 used is not really less expensive over here then A9 so I think I just have to try the A9, maybe in do like it more then expected, let’s hope for the best.
