Loads of issues came out of nowhere after new update
Native Access error "Installation failed; Invalid location" Running Native Access 3.9.1 and Mac OS Sonoma 14.4. Installation paths are set to default and have been the whole time, just randomly stopped working after updating with no fix. NI is pretty lousy to get in touch with and with handling these issues. Was hoping to get this fixed in time for a gig and wasn't able to. anyone else had this problem?

Just to note, I've granted full disk access, and tried virtually everything to fix this. I've been all over articles clearing the cache deleting the random NI sys files. I don't know the cause of this issue but it's preventing me from installing ANYTHING.

You could try downgrading to NATIVE ACCESS 3.8.0 to see if that makes any difference..

Thanks for this, when I open this version half of the libraries / kontakt itself don't appear. As well as it forcing me to update to 3.9 once I close the app. Probably a bug, I hope they can get this fixed soon, as a gigging musician relying on these libraries this has been a nightmare.

here's exactly what i'm up against. i've got the default directories as they've always been, and they're certainly valid locations. so i don't know what's up with this.

You hopefully already opened a ticket at N.I. Native Access and Installation Support so that you can get matters sorted !?

I've opened 2, they are very poor in their responsiveness. It seems kontakt is in a coma until they fix the bug. Thank you for the response.

It must be so incredibly frustrating with problems of this kind when you rely on it for work.
However, it just dawned on me, if and when you rely on this for work then in all honesty then I don't think it the most prudent course of action to use Mac OS Sonoma 14.4 , not only is Kontakt not yet listed as supported but also being on the forefront with updates on an OS like Mac is known to produce problems. And despite everything then this could end up being a 'Sonoma' problem rather than an NI problem !? (macOS Sonoma 14.4: Reasons Not to Update) (Quote user on page : The problem is that with each version dozens of small bugs appear, which are then never fixed. And even if you upgrade to a three-year-old version that already only receives security patches, you will likely encounter new unfixed problems. And every year it gets worse in terms of attention to detail. And soon another redesign disaster awaits us)

Update: The problem has somehow been resolved. After a random attempt at installing through native access, the installations were successful. Thank you to NI if they've made action on this error to resolve it.

are you having a problem with other plug-ins outside of NI.I am not going to upgrade NOW.In fact what if i never up grade again and make music with what i have (and thats alot).

no, the only issue i was having was with NI plugins. Arturia was my saving grace for the gig since i couldn't access the NI patches. i personally believe we should not have to keep our system held back, or juggle between different versions of the hub just to have things working properly. --
these things do happen though, and I've since had no problems. good idea about working within limitations. that idea has bred some of the greatest music!
