Running Ventura 13.6.4 Native Access 2... " Oops Looks like nothing comes up" why is this?

My products have disappeared with NA 2 but do exist with NA 1. But I cannot install new software ie session percussionist via either NA.

Any ideas of what the problems are?

If it were me - I would drop NA1 and focus on NA2 - and I am not sure if the two can co-exist on one machine.

NA1 is being retired and should be avoided now. NA2 (v3.8.x ) is where you should be.

The problem is that even if NA1 is not on the system, absolutely nothing loads on NA2 so I can't install anything hence my initial question

    Thanks Peeps,

Tried resetting Native Access XML file but still no change. I believe my OS is compatible with the the up to date NA2 according to the NI website

Still the same message even after a refresh.

Looks like time for a support ticket to me.

It appears that too much of something is no longer there for NA2 to function properly.

NA1 works perfectly on my M1 Pro.

When I read the nightmare NA2 is for such a huge quantity of users, I prefer not to update, even if I don’t have access to the last versions of many plugins or libraries…

NI went so bad since they were bought by Francisco Partners that I’m actually afraid to update anything NI related.

I was thinking of installing Native Access 1 because NA 2 is broken atm.

Native Access 1 is broken also.

Disk mount error and I have already done the registry fix.

    Thanks VP,

I'll try the ticket route, and see if NI can shed any light on the situation.

I'd stick with just NA1 if it were possible, but it's not allowing me to install new software.

@Charlievincent That message on the pic you posted is what appears if you try to search for something and it doesn't find it. For instance if I search for ! it gives me a message that nothing came up for "!"

Yours looks like it's searching for nothing (or something not visible between the " characters).

Yes, That is the image I see in NA2 whereas NA1 shows the software.

This must be a bug or something above my technical awareness.

As mentioned before I'd stay with NA1 if I were able to install new software.

    @Charlievincent

"As mentioned before I'd stay with NA1 if I were able to install new software."

Can't imagine any reason to stay on anything that is not current and NA1 will be dormant and retired by years end.

Almost all of us use NA2 without any issue - I am on Windows and have never had an issue. Then again - I haven't installed NA1 since sometime before NA2 became available.

Let us know how your troubleshooting goes with support.
