Red Fuzz - Which variants are modeled

The Red Fuzz is supposed to be modeled after the Fuzz Face. There's a switch with three versions.

I'm really curious as to which variants these are modeled after. Particularly because Fuzz Faces are not usually my favorite flavor of fuzz, but there is something about option III that I really like. Can anyone tell me what this version is modelled upon?

In my opinion, maybe Big Muff, but without so many the bassy frequencies...

    Just an opinion.

I think that's Big Fuzz not Red Fuzz - Big Muff was Electro-Harmonix, The Fuzz Faces were by Arbiter Electronics originally

Yes, they were pretty clear that the Red Face was modeled after the Arbiter Fuzz Faces. While Variation III is different than the typical Fuzz Face it doesn't sound anything like a Big Muff.

It's a shame I can't seem to find out what this is because I might be interested in adding one of these onto my pedalboard.
