Dog-ears on tracks in song mode?

I am sure this answer is so easy I'm embarrassed to even ask it but I've tried to find it on my own without success:
When you're in song mode on M+ and a section of a track on one group has the little folded-over dog ear icon, what does that signify? Is that like a section that loops within the playback?

This means that one or more patterns in that scene are actually longer than the scene length.
In your example Scene 2 is only one bar, but the pattern in B1 is actually 2 bars long (but only the first bar will play).

Sure. This is with the Body Fatale project open from the Body Mechanic expansion on M+. See the little folded down bit on the upper right hand corner of the Scene 2 label?
