Saving Sounds with Machine Mikro MK3

Happy New Year everyone. Tryin to save sounds with my Machine Mikro MK3. In the tutorial it said to click shift and then star to save a sound. I am doing that and nothing is happening. I am wondering if someone can shed some light on how to do it correctly?

That's to set a sound as a favorite, not for saving.

This kind of stuff on a Mikro usually has to be done in the software:

Right-click the instrument and save it and then switch the browser to User Mode and all your custom saved presets should show up.

If the synth/instrument has 20 different menus/pages you do what? take 20 screenshots per patch?

I know you mean well but once again, try to stick to answering things you actually know, or you completely rekt the forums 'unanswered' system and bloat every thread. Generic replies like "check audio settings", "reinstall / restart your computer" or "I don't really know how to do this, but..." are only helpful about 1% of the time.

If you could please follow this advice I'd appreciate it as it's the 3rd time I am asking.

I don't really know how to do this, but I know the alternative that might help you.

Make any kind of a sample or sound, then screenshot it.

Next time you need a sound you created, just trace the sound settings from the screenshot.
