Hi and happy 2024!

I bought the new Traktor Pro 3 and tried to setup my scratch vinyls but when I calibrate it says: Calibration failed check needles and record...

What am I doing wrong?

Please help me...

Thank you!

D

On the 750mk2, the phono inputs are only on channels 1 and 4, so you would have to adjust the channel routing in Traktor and the DJM utility accordingly with your input and output settings.

In Traktor itself, you may have to press the recalibrate button above the scope again so that the timecode signal is recognized correctly. The gray circles suggest that it hasn't been properly calibrated yet. (They had to be blue).

Check your DJM utility mixer audio output: It's not quite right here. On channel 1 you haven't yet switched to the control tone phono. Do this with usb 1/2 and 7/8. (Correct also the channels in Traktor).

    Hi @Owner

    Thank you so much!

still a bit confused... now I setup the DJM Utility Mixer (see attached)

not really sure what to do in traktor pro 3... the input and output routing is not clear to me...

ideally I would like to have my mixer DJM-750MK2 and 2 MK2 turntables with the scratch control MK2 vinyls

what does all this numbers in / out 01-11 mean ? channels ?

I only get a signal with input signal 08 or 09 - but it says calibration failed ... low timecode quality

and 08 and 09 are both turntables ... so confusing

what do I have to do?

    thanks!

For me everything looks right. Well now you have mapped the same vinyl to both Decks, but you get good signal so it should work.

Do you have to activate phono pre-amp on the DJM?

When you use a normal vinyl and set the deck to live input, do you hear it clearly?

thanks @lord-carlos but what does the numbers mean exactly? 01-11

and why do I hear both turntables on 09 and 10

and what you mean with phono pre-amp? where do I see this?

Ok I got it finally... I had the channels on Phono not on USB

Mhh, changing from phono to USB should not change if calibration fails or not.

    But does everything work now?

^ here you probably want 0 and 1 on deck a. Right now you have the same phono input to both decks.

Have you now managed to get everything to work the way you wanted? Ultimately, all inputs and outputs per deck simply have to be aligned with each other. When I get around to it, I'll give you a few screenshots tomorrow of how it should be correct.

@lord-carlos as far as i know the Traktor decks don't calibrate, when your input selection on the Mixer is on Phono. It has to be USB to get the input from the tone control through it.
