    I agree completely! Why use loops or something when you can just create your patterns. What helped me get over a bump was the Jam and to produce entirely in M+ as far as I could take a project.

    It depends about how one makes music, a few loops or sliced audio is fine too, Patterns is ideal but can also be problem if his music has a lot going on, it can for example require gigantic patterns and that introduces problems or can became require an unmanageable amount of them.

    I for example need a ton of features not available in Maschine so any serious Music is done elsewhere, then adapted to it later but the only reason i can easily do it is because I know the device pretty well. Im not suggesting OP should switch from his DAW to Maschine, not everyone is up for that, just make tons of sketches with it or try to incorporate it somehow...

    @D-One asked

    What particular feedback do you find so valuable?

    All the feedback forum users are trying to get across for a decade. And some additional points, like connectivity, inconsistent use of control buttons 1-8. But also the positive aspects of feel and size of the M+.

    BTW, I completely disagree with the reverb bashing and think a polyphonic Model-D to be a wildly obscene atrocity - but tastes vary.

    there are now better quality filters available

    What?! Where are these Filters? Are you talking about custom Reaktor ensembles?

    AFAIK the cutoff frequency of the standard Filter still can’t be dialed out of the perceived range.

    Yes, talking about Reaktor filters.. If you remember the thread I made back then, it specifically talked about them having been made "mainly to piss off Stimming", was a reaction to this particular video ;)

    Yes, I know the R6 core filters use more DSP than Maschine native ones, but I would imagine in Stimming's case, he would only need those filters on group/bus level, and I made sure those filters would never introduce zipper noise when automated.. the cutoff ranges might be the only aspect I didn't get perfect, but that could be fixed now that I have a better grasp on how to scale knob ranges in R6.. I suppose I should revisit them, could add sidechain to them while am at it

    Yeah the fact that you still can’t dial the internal LPF past 12.5k is one of the more bizarre things is Maschine, can’t imagine why it’s been left like that

    Please do so. Looking forward to trying them again.

    BTW, there also was a custom Monark filter ensemble I never go to work on the M+. Maybe time to have a look at that.

    However I have to admit to not be as dissatisfied with Maschine’s filter and reverb effects as many others seem to be. Either I have low expectations or I’m tone deaf. Or both.
