how to achieve an 808 glide?

I've heard a lot of beats with that glide, when it comes to 808.

Anyone cares sharing a few tips.

How do yo achieve your 808 glide,

What presets work best for you?

    If you mean Bass glide, use the in-DAW automation wheel or pitch shift effect.

    Legato + Portamento - Retrigger = Drill Glides

    Not all samplers allow you to do this. Battery 4 does not, for example. So, either you use Maschine 2, which I think allows this, or you use a different sampler like Serato Sampler or whatever comes with your DAW.

    You can design a bass in Monark and it allows this. Also, TRK-01 Bass, naturally.
