'seeing' the resources on an external drive

Due to an idiotic error I have had to reinstall windows 10 non a new partition. I already have all the Native Instrument resources I need (apps, sounds) downloaded from my previous installation of windows, but I have put some of them on an external drive. I have directed Native Access to use this folder as the source of resources, but it just doesnlt see them and when I press install NA just starts to download the files - even though they are already in the appropriate folder. Do I really have to download eveything again or is there a way to get NA to recognise the resources I already have?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
John

@northerman What is on the external hard drive? Applications or content like Kontakt libraries ? For the programs and plug-ins you definitely have to install them again. For the Kontakt libraries, if they are installed on an external hard drive you can use the locate function of Native Access: Reinstalling a KOMPLETE Bundle Without Re-Downloading KONTAKT Libraries
