Thumbnail Picture Icons Missing in Komplete Kontrol & Maschine 2 (Already followed support guide)

Hello!

I recently installed all of my native instruments software on a new Mac Studio. I am running into the issue of my thumbnail icons not appearing.

I have followed the troubleshooting guide here with no success:

Is there any additional troubleshooting steps I can take?

I'm also curious: I am on a M1 Ultra Mac Studio with Ventura installed (it came pre-installed unfortunately) - could that be the reason why I am running into this issue?

There is an actual bug in Native Access that brought up this issue again (which also still exists for some users but the source of the issue is different). This will get fixed in the next update of Native Access, probably next month.

There's an article here where we shared other (bigger) image folders: Artwork for Hypha, Borough Chops, Thrill, Soul Sessions, Twenty Five not showing up.

Extract that and place the image folder in:

Your-HD>Users>Shared>NI resources

Thanks @D-One, this brought back some of my icons but I'm still missing a handful. How should I resolve this?

Did you mean that I should replace the old image folder with the one you attached above?

Humm that's odd. Try this: Simply copy the image folder from your old mac to your new one.

Other than that your only options is contacting tech support.

Was this supposed to be fixed? I did a new install of Komplete Kontrol on a new computer and have this problem as well.

@Rob Gray What's your operating system? Have you tried to replace the image folder found in this thread?

@Rob Gray hey Rob! I downloaded the Dropbox zip file that user @makasao posted in this article:

Follow the steps with replacing the folder and do a full shut down restart before opening Native access / Maschine etc. Should do the trick!

Yes, after multiple Dropbox downloads and replacing things I have it working.

I was simply posting so Native Instruments support could know that this is still not working without lots of manual fixes.

Ran into the same issue and it's Nov. 30 2023.

The icons are missing, and Native Instruments is the only company I have consistently had this problem with on multiple machines. I have spent so many hours fixing this issue before, and now I'm on an M1, and the problem is worse!

How is this possible?!?!

This is supposed to be a seamless experience with the controllers from NI and I can't see the packs visually because we can't seem to figure out what other companies do so well... I want to be creative but my OCD isn't allowing me to. FIX THIS PLEASE NI............. GOOD GRIEF!
