In the pattern browser - Why are some circles filled in with white and other circles are just outlined in white ?

    Hello,

    the filled circles show a strum that is more pronounced, the others are quieter. Maybe there is also a term for guitarists but i don´t know, for me the one is louder the other gentle.

    So it's just about the loudness or volume of the notes .The filled circles are just Louder ? Thanks

    I think the filled circles are full strumming patterns while the outlined ones are either on limited strings or palm muted.
