Jogwheel affacts tempo of outgoing midi to external synth

Hey,

I've been having an issue with the Traktor s4 mk2, it's sending the midi clock fine after I configured it in the settings and inserted the output of it to my external midi but when a spin the jog wheel to sync it with the beat from the external synth(I'm using the clock just to sync the clock tempo, I trigger it manually) it also changed the tempo of the external hardware I'm using(Syntakt in this case)

any ideas?

so you have master clock set on and don't set "auto" or a deck to "master"?
