I wonder why can't NI dedicate 1 or 2 people on staff for a couple of days to update the Stem creator tool...

I use traktor stems on MAC Monterey. So I have to create ALAC Files, go to Windows using UTM or paralells, use the stem creator tool on windows (It no longer works on newer OS on mac), then go back to Mac traktor to play. Long process to play Lossless stem files.. Ironicaly windows users are able to create stem files with ALAC but aren't able to play in windows Traktor 🤦‍♂️

It's been such a battle to play stems since they were released...It took them I think 5 or 6 years to update traktor to be able to play ALAC files (They advertised that it played but it gave an error when opening in traktor). Now that traktor can read ALAC, the stem creator tool no longer works on mac......

Stems creator wont even work if the name of the file has a # on it (for sharp)

I don't think it will work well for what I need:

My stems are

Kick and Bass

Drums

Leads

Atmos

So really need a software that creates stems from seperate files. Also it sounds super clean when using proper stems.

Is there any other way of making stems from Wav or Alac files that doesn't require the stem creator tool?

Here's how to get the Stem creator to work passed 3% on newer OS

2 - Open Terminal and run the Terminal Command. xattr -cr /Applications/stemcreator.app

3 - Open STEM Creator Try to make a STEM. I received a failed message. But then was prompted to download and install the command line developer tools. Which I did. https://developer.apple.com/download/all/

4 - Quit STEM Creator.

5 - Reopened STEM Creator and created a STEM file with out any issues.
