@C.Zealous So, we spent some time to review your case again.

I understand you being relunctant to reinstall your Windows system but please know that when we do remote sessions we use specialized agents. If a user is a Windows user it's a Windows specialist that takes care of it, if it's on a Mac, it's a Mac specialist.

Creating a new user account and still having permissions issues means your system has a problem. My colleague told you about these permission issues that were impossible to fix. Then you contact us for another issue related to permissions again but you are not satisfied with the answer. We can help until a certain point. Didn't one of my colleagues suggest contacting Microsoft about this?

Uwe is nice enough to help here, but if this doesn't work, then you really have to think about reinstalling Windows, you will save yourself a lot of time.

It is not my intention to be difficult or challenging. I'm simply trying to understand.

It would appear that though my PC's settings may be set to some default state or something, there are certain permissions or accesses or whatever that Maschine needs so it'd be better suited my PC's settings are adjusted....

If that's the case Jeremy, I would've appreciated that explanation.

I appreciate you Uwe for actually sharing some details and screenshots.

I tried getting to the Ransomware Protection but I was denied. My research suggests that because I use McAfee, its preventing me access. I don't know if I must uninstall it though....

But now, in the end, if I have to do a reinstall, is there an opportunity to set the permissions and/or authorities/accesses properly for Maschine and such??

I mean, the reinstall is to serve as correction or adjusting or whatever for whatever's complicating Maschine now.

If I do the reinstall, what/how is it that I need my PC to be set??

i would uninstall mcafee, windows 10 and 11 have (good) enough build in protection. Try what i have shown with the protected folder stuff. As far as i remember most attacks and stuff works with phishing.
