Pattern player Joran Van Pol

Wondering if anyone can help. with remix decks I am not seeing how the pattern player makes any sense. With that, can someone tell me if the Joran Van Pol sounds are available to use in the remix decks instead. That would be helpful along with focus on getting stems deck on par with the other competitors. That would actually move the needle for me. Anyone else?
