Traktor one shot samples?

I’m coming from using virtual dj software and migrating to traktor.

I have a s4 mk3. Obviously comparing software won’t be helpful. But I am trying to find a way to add one shot samples to my pads or a way to trigger a dj air horn or explosion. It is not very intuitive and I am struggling. I have heard I have to add it to a remix deck. But I just want to quickly add a sound effect here and there.

Remix decks are probably your best bet. Load a remix set into deck C/D and I'm pretty sure you can trigger them with the pads while decks A/B are still playing.
