NI has made my DAW unusable

So as it was sale season I bought a new mashine exp pack, download was fine.

Opened Live and now none of my projects will open, live freezes and everything is greyed out.


I have send all crashes to abelton and they said its fm8 and absynth, I removed these and now it's mashine.

Everything ran fine until I bought this new exp, now I can't work on a single project.


Any ideas??

    Absynth is set to discontinued, FM8, Super 8 and Reaktor 6 are fit in early 2023 Nico wrote for Mac and win 11.

    OK but that doesn't explain my system working fine until I downloaded bumpin flav?

    I mean... since it's an Expansion that doesn't have any Absynth and/or FM8 content in it, clearly both likely weren't the issue and it's odd from Ableton to tell you otherwise. I also don't see how it would be capable of locking up your DAW since all what an Expansion does is adding new content to Maschine, Massive, ... etc.

    Is your Maschine updated to the latest version as recommended?

    OK see what you mean, I don't have the paid update to maschine.

    Again though all this worked within ableton before this download. Using maschine in every project.

    Abelton don't know that I downloaded this exp

    I just asked them to check the crash report, i have to force quit every time as I just won't run once open. They told me the log shows NI causing the crash.

    I uninstalled fm8 and absynth and then the fault log shows maschine

    So you were using Maschine inside these projects you are not able to open anymore?

    What is your operating system? Do you have a M1 Mac or is it an Intel Mac?

    Are you able to open Maschine in standalone? Have you tried these steps ? MASCHINE Crashes

    Yes inside all projects then exporting drum stems.

    I have a i7 mac not Intel 16gb ram

    Os 14y

    I can't open any daw projects at all now

    I can start fresh but after a save it freezes

    Totally unusable now

    What happens when you open Maschine in standalone?

    Yes sorry my phone decided to suddenly go crazy.

    Stand alone seems to be working, but i have multiple projects I need to bounce stems from

    There has to be a way to get this back to working order?

    I take it all driver and patch updates are done via NI access?
