    Hi Jeremy,

    I’m not using any midi template for Logic. I’m expecting to use the DAW integration that comes with Komplete Kontrol.

    I’ve noticed this from troubleshooting a plug in problem. If I start Logic with Core Audio disabled, the instance button either lights or does so reliably next time with core audio enabled.

    The fix doesn’t last, but is it a clue and if so, what could I do next? I’ve tried removing my Tascam usb2x2 interface, but that didn’t help.

    I’m not technical by the way, so any suggestions gratefully received. I’m now in touch with Alfredo in tech support and waiting for a reply to my latest messages.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Sorry, I'm on multiple threads and I didn't answer your question accurately. The Logic template thing turned out to be a red herring. The problem soon resurfaced.

    I've tried all the published fixes I can find: updating Logic and KK; replacing the scripts in midi devices. Granting full disk access to the relevant programmes. Checking leads.

    What I've found:-

    When transport controls fail at Logic start up, the A61 display remains on Template 1 - midi mode. When it operates correctly, the display shows M S Komplete Kontrol.

    I can occasionally fix things by unplugging and replugging the keyboard. I can sometimes fix things by removing the A61 from midi studio and / or Logic settings.

    Recently, as per my other post, I've found that disabling and re-enabling Core Audio in Logic provides a temporary fix, typically for the next 3 to 4 sessions.

    The A61 never loses transport once it's successfully connected.

    Any thoughts?

    @Pete from Bristol I must confess I have no idea why the behaviour of transport/host control is so inconsistent on your system. Hopefully my colleagues will be able to figure it out.

    Hey I'm here struggling and need a remote trouble shoot service ASAP. Ive got great momentum going and need this to work properly!

    I also paid a lot of money to have the s88 Komplete and the Collectors edition, so I have a lot of downloading to do that I can't even begin because I can't install plugins OR get my s88 to sync with logic.


    Please help!
