Found old Kontrol S4 in move in, previous owner unknown

I found an older Kontrol S4 when helping a friend move into a house, the board was left there by previous owner. I keep running into the issue of the Master light blinking but the board not connecting to the software. I do not know who the previous owner was so I have no hope of finding the serial code to register, any tips on how to combat this?

S/N should be on the underside of the controller...but if it is registered by the "unknown" previous owner, you will not be able to register it. If you don't have the S/N then I am not sure anything can be done, but you can try contacting "Account & Registration" support available on the Support page.
