iTunes Sync, iTunes updates .musiclibrary file and not a .XML

Traktor 2.11.2, MBP Intel, Catalina 10.15.7
I noticed when I update a playlist or add music to the Music App, "iTunes" it updates a .musiclibrary file and not an .XML file. I do understand the work around of exporting my iTunes library to get the updated .XML file I need but how do I share the same library file? The idea would be that if I added a song to my iTunes playlist "live," I want to be able to refresh the playlist on Traktor to sync that song in to the list.
I noticed on the PC version of iTunes you can select "share the.xml library file with other apps" but that is not an option on the Mac version.
Please advise.

Hi @iRockDrums it could be that in your settings you didn't set to share the XML with other apps? Please see more info here:
How to Import the iTunes Music Library to your TRAKTOR Track Collection
Also make sure to disable "Use legacy XML" in Traktor's File Management tab just in case.

Is there a way I can get Traktor to see the same file iTunes uses for its main library file?
