Hello Community

Does S49 MK3 keyboard integrate 100% with Maschine+, Hardware, and Maschine 3, Software?

I have actually the S49 MK2 keyboard and it works perfectly. I would like to upgrade to the S49 MK3 keyboard. Can I change without problems?

    Nope. The S MK3 acts as a dumb MIDI controller if you plug it into M+, and it needs an additional power supply. With the Maschine 3 software running on a computer you need to use the Maschine browser to load sounds as browsing on the kbd isn't implemented. The integration with NKS to the screen/knobs is ok once the sounds are loaded. If you're thinking about upgrading mainly to use with Maschine I'd suggest buying from somewhere with a decent returns policy.
