Can I install my Kontakt libraries on two laptops at the same time? My operating system is a MacBook Air with an M4 chip, macOS Sequoia 15.3.2, the latest from Apple.

    Yes you can.

More than that: if you have them on external disk and use this for both laptops, you don’t have to reinstall the libraries. You can use Native Access Locate function to point it at where they are already installed

    Ref. : Quote : ENDUSER LICENSE AGREEMENT , section : 3.3

Licensee may install and personally use the licensed software on three devices (e.g. one computer, one laptop, one workstation), provided that the said software is used only on one device regularly. Simultaneous use on more than one hardware device is not permitted. The Products may not be used on a network by multiple users, unless each user possesses a license. In case Licensee changes the hardware, all software on the hardware used must be deleted.

Howto Share KONTAKT- Libraries Between Two Computers Using an External Hard Drive

Quote : Important note for Windows users: Make sure the external drive always gets the same letter assigned by Windows. Otherwise, the KONTAKT libraries will not be found during use.

Storing Libraries on an External Drive for both Mac and Windows

We do not recommend storing your libraries and content on an external drive to be used by both a Mac and Windows computer. It may cause performance issues.

If using Native Instruments software on a Mac and Windows computer, we recommend using separate external drives specifically for each OS.

For best results, your external drive should be formatted the same as your operating system's native format. These are : Windows ; NTFS , Mac OS X 10.12 and earlier ;HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) . macOS 10.13 and later ; Apple File System(APFS)
