HELP! Kontakt not getting any sounds

I am using kontakt 8 in Pro Tools. Any instrument I load does not play any sound. I can see my komplete kontrol key board working as it hits the highlighted keys in the player. But no sound at all. In fact, there isn't even a meter up on the top of the player showing where sound would be.

It acted the same way in standalone, as it did in protools.

I did however decide to "reinstall" all the kontakt libraries and that solved the issue. But I had to wait a considerably long time as my internet is slow out here in the mountains.

I even checked the library path and everything looked correct. So I'm not too sure why re-downloading everything made it work?

Oh well. Back at er.

@JustMark If you open Kontakt 8 in standalone, do you experience similar behaviour? If you press on the blue keys on the onscreen keyboard do you get sounds?

Well, reinstalling probably repaired some broken permissions. Good news it's working now.
