Then maybe the 8x8 pad controllers would be something for you, like the akai APC mini, novation launchpad and so on. I'm sure on the DJ tech tools website you'll find some ready mappings, just have a look.

those controllers i mean are physical, but they have a pad matrix of eight by eight instead of four by four
