Kontakt - Only Out 1 audible
Hello,
in „40's VO Drums“ i routed each sound to it's own output and the signals show up in Kontakts Mixer but …
- using Factory > Stereo configurations i only get to hear „Out 1“.
- using Factory > Mono configurations it's just „Out 1“ (Left Speaker) & „Out 2“ (Right Speaker).
Why is that? … What needs to be done in order to hear the other outputs as well?

The real Outputs are as many as your audio card supports…
If you have laptop audio chip is usually 2 outputs (1 stereo)
a typical low budget audio card can give 4 outputs (2 stereo)
a decent card 6 to 8 outputs
…and so on, and so one…
So, which audio card are you use?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the question properly, but I'll mention the following:
If you have a VST that gives you multiple outputs - the extra outputs will be available as inputs for the other sound slots in the group in maschine. You'll have to excuse my screenshot showing old stuff - I don't have anything new installed on my current laptop
In this example, I have kontakt in one of the sounds in the group (in this case, slot 1). If I routed sounds to the extra outputs inside of kontakt, I could bring them into maschine on a different slot in the same group. The first output always just routes directly out of the plugin (again; in this case, slot 1). If I routed something to output 2 in kontakt, I'd need to manually pick another sound in maschine and set the input to output 2. It's not automatic.

Oh 🤦♂️ … i see. 😃 … Thank you Sunborn!
It's a laptop & id14 (Stereo Out). I just did this step because — coming from „normal“ DAWs and being new to Maschine — i'm used to it in order to mix drums on separate tracks.1 -
Not much you can do with a typical laptop audio, i'm afraid… you have to live with its limitations (or buy a good audio card).
However, there is the solution of a virtual mixer with many virtual outputs and ASIO support. I still use the excellent Voicemeeter for my laptop, you might want to check it out. :-)
It comes in 3 versions, Standard (free), Banana (donation-ware) and Potato (professional).

OMG! 👍😃 darkwaves that's it! 🥳 This is just what i was looking for.
Now i can jam in Play Series Drum-Instruments … and later on export their sounds as separate *.wav-files … so i can use them in any other DAW on separate tracks in a mix.
Although it would be nice if there was a single click solution, right now I don't mind the extra few clicks. I see that as flexibility. The important thing for me is to know that it's possible. What a relief.
Learned something new today. Thank you guys! 👋
