Studio drummer automation

Hi all. I try to automate Kontakt Studio drummer knobs but they dont get automated. For example i open the mixer, choose snare, assign a midi controller to the low freq DB knob, but it doesnt get assigned. I try also by enabling WRITE on the track, playing, turning the knob but no automation lane is created. Any Help? Thanks

Any help available with respect to exact OS version, Kontakt version , Komplete Kontrol version ? If inside a DAW then what DAW and which version ? And also I personally do not know if you are 'automating' using Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol ?

Have you done all the Mac users must do when using N.I. software ? :

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Also then do not use Clean My Mac. (the CleanMyMac use can give all sorts of issues)

Thanks for answering PoorFellow. I have mac osx El Capitan and i dont want to update as i have a lot of old version software and im afraid they may malfunction. I use cubase 9.5 and kontakt 6. I dont have any of the compatibility or crashing issues you mentioned above, actually i do use automation with most of kontakt's instruments. Only some controls dont respond to automation, like the eq knobs of studio drummer i mentioned

What MIDI controller are you using? Do you know on what MIDI channel it's emitting? Maybe this article can help: Configuring your MIDI Keyboard / Controller in Kontakt

Can you post a screenshot or video to illustrate?
