in Komplete Kontrol

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a used Komplete Kontrol MK2 S81 By Native Instruments 88 Key FATAR Keybed Weighted Keys

I intend to us this for recording/production purposes only. Is this keyboard compatible with Kontakt 8 and all the instruments?

Are there any known issues with this keyboard such that I should avoid the purchase?

    It's compatible with Kontakt 8 if you use it with Komplete Kontrol. You can't use it for browsing or controlling Kontakt directly like you can with the MK3 keyboards, but the browsing experience with Komplete Kontrol is more than adequate. You still need to use Komplete Kontrol for non-Kontakt instruments like Reaktor, Massive, FN8 even with the MK3 so you're not missing anything there. I don't know about known issues on the hardware side as I don't have one.

    Thank you mykejb! That's the answer I was looking for. I can pick this one up for $350 US.
