Hey all, if some of you still experience these freezes, even after updating to 3.4.1 and after resetting the database, please get in touch with our support here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_Kontrol

    Hi,

My 2 cents of input. My scan always get stuck at the end of the scanning.

I open the resource monitor (windows 11), right click on Komplete Kontrol, then select Wait Chain and end the nt-pligin-info.exe. Than the plugin scanning continues.

the nt-plugin-info.exe seems to get stuck on one of the plugiins.

no errors reported in the event viewer.

@MindTaker Could you please send us the following file so we can take a closer look at the issue:

You are going to want to click the Windows start button and put %temp%

in the search bar, and then open the folder.

Then you will want to search for Komplete Kontrol.log. Please zip the file and attach it to this thread, our devs & QA can then check what's wrong.

Actually - it is these that are failing:

    Faulting module name: LegendHZ_FX.vst3

    version: 2.0.0.0

    time stamp: 0x6628c063

    Faulting module name: Ozone 10.vst3

    version: 10.4.0.2688

    time stamp: 0x63fd5ebf

Faulting module name: Ozone 11 Elements.vst3

    version: 11.2.0.3298

    time stamp: 0x66b5c536

Faulting module name: Neutron 5 Elements.vst3

    version: 5.0.0.927

    time stamp: 0x67104646

Tons of users have these plugins worldwide and are running them within KK 3.x.

There must be something else going here. Like possibly a license check that cannot be completed or something else that is interfering with the scan.

    Hi Vocalpoint

Yes, I never bought Ozone nor Neutron. I suspect it was trialware bundled with a hardware buy.

They didn't tart neither in Ableton (crash) nor in Cubase (disabled)

Uninstalling them solved all problems. No more error popups nor hanging at the end.

KK3 did a full scan without errors.

    Thanks for your help
