I just purchased Update for my GR 5 to GR 7 Pro. It says that GR& Pro includes presets. Mine has none!

OK, I got it. It appears that the problem I was having was in the Preset section I was always clicking on a color. I didn't realize that none of the components and presets are color coded by default. I found that if I clicked on a color that was already highlighted, it wil UN-highlight the selection! Voilla, they show up, including several of the presets that I had saved and could not see. Same with the components. NI should make this issue a bit more clear. Basically I have been a Guitar Rig user since 2012 and love it. Even with all this recent trouble I like GR 7 better than 5, except I can't use it with pedals. I was also able to import my GR5Pro Presets. All good now.

But you have opened Guitar Rig 7 as Standalone first?

Doing this is important, so that Guitar Rig can populate its database.

    Else, read: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409388357137-My-Guitar-Rig-Browser-is-Empty-or-Incomplete

Yes, I opened it up first on my computer. This being said, I had first tried the Free GR7 Play. This I used first in Stand-alone then in my DAW, and there were no presets here, either.

Then I purchased GR7 Pro., installed and opened stand-alone first. No Presets. I am beyond frustrated. I enjoyed GR5 Pro for the last 15 years. I don't mind upgrading, but this is ridiculous.

    I am using Windows 10 Pro 22H2

If you have any more info, please advise.

    Thank you

Still doesn't work correctly. I am using my laptop and I uninstalled it again and then re-installed it using the file sent to me by NI instead of using Native Access. Same thing, no Presets.
    Get this:
I installed it on another of my computers (Desktop - Windows 10 Pro) and I got the full version with all of the NI presets. It also looked like there were many more of the components than what I am getting on my laptop. I originally installed the GR7 Player FREE version on my Laptop, prior to purchasing the Pro version. It looks to me that the GR7 Pro that I am installing is the same as the free version. Is it possible that there are other files that need to be deleted when I do the Uninstall?
At any rate, I am really frustrated. Anyone, Please help. Thank you
