Pattern player custom kits

I could drop the F1 for most shows if there was a way to make custom kits for the Pattern Player :)

Like just release a separate editor, maybe even with a basic sample kit? All I generally use is the 909 kit to give a few songs some snare, clap or hats.

Once I dropped the other FX bank on my X1 in favor of this I'm already using my F1 live a lot less. You could even incorporate a one-shot feature by just triggering the sample with the on/off button when they're the selected sound :)

    What would be more useful In my opinion is to add more FX Units added to Traktor first. How am I going to implement PP into my existing setup if I already use all four Units for effects - there is no way.

    I think these would be more practical if NI made them as a Mixer effects with midi mappable sub parameters.

    Man, I don't know :P I've got three single-knob FX there and I'm good with the reverb and the gater, barely even remember what's on the third knob 😅

    Just let me put my own damn samples in there and write some patterns for them. And let me trigger some one-offs with the on/off button so I have my risers and a sub drop and that's all I needed the F1 for anyway 😝
