Electric Mint with Kontakt 8 Player on Sequoia

I'm interested in the Electric Mint guitar software. It's impressive.

Being relatively new to Native Instruments. I assume I can purchase Electric Mint it on it's own without having the big full packages…

Two questions - I assume it comes with a free Kontakt 8 player.. and it will suffice to function with it.

Is it compatible with the latest Mac software - Sequoia 15.3.1 ? I don't see it listed anywhere on any compatibility section on the site.

Electric Mint will work with Kontakt 8 Player as will all the Native Instruments libraries.

In the long run though then you will be much better off spending your money on buying the Komplete 15 Standard bundle since that gives you the full version of all N.I. flagship apps (including Kontakt 8 full version) and a lot of libraries including the Session Guitarist - Electric Mint. The bundle is bought particularly advantageous at sales where it is %50 off 😉

ok thanks… but buying the full version is ultra expensive … I only want the green mint guitar … what I'm confused about..,. I see Kontakt 8 for sale as well…. what does green mint come with to allow me to use it in Logic? There must be some type of software that comes with it…

green mint guitar is listed for $129 and Kontakt 8 is listed for between $300-$400 .. you are saying Kontakt 8 comes with it?

If you buy Mint it will work perfectly with Komplete 8 Player, you won't need to buy anything else.

If you've not already done so it's worth taking a look at Komplete Start here - https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-start That gives you Komplete 8 Player along with a bunch of instrument libraries and effects, plus it's free. You'll be able to check out how the Kontakt 8 Player works with Logic before you commit to buying Mint.

The Session Guitarist - Electric Mint is a licensed Kontakt library that can be used with the free Kontakt 8 Player that you can download from N.I.

The Session Guitarist - Electric Mint is just that , nothing more nothing less , you can use it with the free Kontakt 8 Player.

You can test Kontakt 8 Player without spending any money , simply add the free Kontakt 8 Player to your account together with the N.I. Komplete Start and then download latest version of Native Access for your OS and install that and use it to download and install the software. It's completely free to try. Including trying how well that Kontakt 8 can be used with your DAW.

Then having checked that then you can buy the Session Guitarist - Electric Mint if you want .

If you later wants to use unlicensed Kontakt libraries then you can always buy Kontakt 8 full version or a bundle containing same , but Kontakt 8 full version is not required for the use of the Session Guitarist - Electric Mint you only need the free Kontakt 8 Player for that.

Yep, as I said, download Komplete Start, give it a try in Logic. Mint will work perfectly with it.
