moving NI instruments to new computer

I have many NI instruments and I will be getting a new computer. Do I have to uninstall the instruments individually or is there a faster way. I know I can have the instruments on 2 computers but I want to keep that option open .

    Hello,

a fresh os install would be better if you want to delete all NI stuff, it´s much faster and you have a clean os, at least in my opinion. But you can also go to the "apps and programs" under "Settings" and remove all one by one by select uninstall.

There are also some programs (like iobit uninstalled) that should allow to batch uninstall programs.

Reinstalling an entire OS to eliminate NI programs seems like a little bit too drastic ☺️, unless you want it to, as Uwe303 said, have a clean OS. But then you’ll have to reinstall everything else (unless your computer had ONLY NI programs on it). So…spared time in uninstalling NI stuff…wasted time in reinstalling all the stuffs you need 😂

    Hello jim_3876,

Please keep in mind, that you can install and use your products in more than one computer, so you will not need to uninstall it from your previous computer. Here is the Knowledge Base Article that can help you with this subject:

    I hope this helps☺️
