Battery 4.3.1 doesn't work at all after update - macOS - Bump Issue

After installing the Battery 4.3.1 update on a macOS 14.7.4 Silicon M3 Max machine, the standalone app crashes when I try to launch it. In Cubase 14, it's marked on the "Blocklist" and won't open. If you try to unblock it in Cubase, it crashes the program.

I use Battery in all of my VST based Cubase projects so I'm pretty much down for the count for any of those projects. It's a good thing that I don't rely on VST based instruments and usually work on hardware instruments in my work.

Is there a fix (update or downgrade) for this?

Do Battery and your DAW have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Also if this is happening on older projects. Were these projects started on an Intel Mac? If this is the case, remeber to open these projects with your DAW in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta

Also, I was able to open older projects prior to the upgrade to Battery 4.3.1 in Cubase 14. Those older projects had been started on the Intel Mac but had been fine after being moved to a Silicon Mac and Natively running Cubase 14.

In order to get this working again, is reinstalling Battery 4.3 an option? I had no problems with it.

Well, that is not supposed to work, that's exactly why the Rosetta mode is here for. Wondering if that could have been a trigger. I've contacted you by email anyway, my colleagues will need to have a deeper look.
