Features we wish Reaktor had.

This means that many new modules need to be created are completed at the Core Level, right?

That might a reason to justify version 7 right there. If they did write some Primary modules it wouldn't be like asking to do something for free. One thing I've heard about with FFT is third octave equalizers don't resonate like analog filters do. I always wondered what the problem was with filter resonance until my friend started talking about the internal reflections in a speaker box. With 3rd octave eq's, that's a lot of boxes. Have you ever heard a bookshelf speaker without it's acoustic damping, man it's bad.

No, what we need is a more complete feature set for core so that we can build more optimal implementations of stuff like convolution, phase vocoding etc. and the rest. These things already exist, but they are not as useful as they would be if there was iteration in core, some function style code reuse mechanism, a more complete table framework (access to SIMD would be nice, but is very unlikely in the context of something like Reaktor).
What we need is the same list of fundamental features that have been missing for 20 years. All the specific module requests are just distractions.
Add the missing fundamental core functionality, and modernise the GUI stuff. That is all. At that point Reaktor would be complete, and the idea of development being maintenance only would be just fine with me.

I think if Reaktor modernizes its GUI and adds Core iteration functionality, it may truly become invincible.😀
