Komplete upgrade question

in Komplete General

I don't see "Absynth" on Komplete 13 Ultimate list of synths. I know its old, but there's nothing like it. If I upgrade to Komplete 13, will I lose Absynth?

    If you have a license for a N.I. software or a bundle on your account then as long as you have the license (and any base product that it may depend on) on your account then you have the software. Any bundle that you add is just added to all the rest that you got.

    With respect to software then you only need to worry about if the software is declared EOL in which case that it e.g. will not receive e.g. compatibility updates. And also another thing to worry about is if the software will keep being compatible with your OS.

    If you have Absynth on your account then it will not vanish just because you add more software to your account. However then as far as I know then Absynth is already EOL so it is not updated anymore and because of that then it might stop working if an update for your OS or OS change breaks compatibility.

    Another aspect of software being EOL is that if N.I. decides so then it could even disappear from the Native Access app because of being EOL but I myself do not see/expect that happen to Absynth any time soon.

    If you already own Absynth and have it installed then you don't need to worry.

    This holds true for the entirety of Komplete by the way: an upgrade process basically consists of installing any new devices you might be interested in, optionally also installing some updates, but that's it. Native Access doesn't support the removal of software, so there's also no risk of that happening.
