Where to put self made preview files in a custom library?

Hi there,

Just importing a few custom libraries to K8. I wanted to make previews for them so went through the process of creating short .wavs and then converting to .ogg. I've then created a folder within the main library for Previews but it seems these are not being read and used and therefore no previews are showing. See attachments for how I've set this up.

I can’t see a dot in the name, also there are lots of subfolders in that directory, does each one contain patches? It might be you need to have a .previews folder in each of them if so with just the previews for the patches in that folder

I’ll screenshot an example when I get home

They need to be in a subfolder of the folder containing the instruments or snapshots - the sub folder should be hidden by adding a dot before the name ie “.previews”

Thanks for your reply. I've made the preview folder hidden and moved it to the folder containing the instruments and restarting K8 still had no luck unfortunately. Any ideas?

Ok, correct on both counts. I had hidden but without the '.' and putting the .preview in each subfolder has fixed. Thank you!
