Stradivari Violin not showing up in Kontakt (even after installation)
Hi everyone. So, I previously was producing mainly on my laptop, and when Stradivari Violin first came out, it nicely installed and showed up in Kontakt via Native Access on that PC.
However, on my new desktop, I went to install all of my software, and most of it works, except for this specific library. Apparently, there is a difference between "Kontakt" and "Kontakt 7", both of which I have installed. Stradivari shows up on Kontakt 7, but I would like to be able to bring projects back and forth between my PC and my laptop, so I need it to load into Kontakt as well.
If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated thank you!

"Kontakt" is Kontakt 6 and it needs an older version of the Strad violin that the version that's installed by Native Access. You can download the older version from address in this thread -

Thank you so much for this! This was the issue! I did not realize that "Kontakt" was just Kontakt 6 in reality haha. Thank you for providing those links as well! My issue is resolved. Thank you very much for you help. Have a great day!

Yeah, we had "Kontakt 5", "Kontakt", "Kontakt 7" and now "Kontakt 8". Rumours are Kontakt 9 will just be called "9" 🤣

Hey I've encountered another issue. Now that I have restarted my PC and reloaded my project where I was using Kontakt 6 and the Stradivari, I am not getting an error that Kontakt is missing content. I went and opened a fresh project just to load Kontakt 6 and see if the Stradivari library was there but now it's missing. I also checked my C:\Users\Public\Documents where the library file path is, and it seems I have two different Stradivari libraries now? I'm assuming one is from the newest update for Kontakt 7 and the other is the one I just installed yesterday for Kontakt 6. Do I need to uninstall the library for Kontakt 7 or something? Thanks again!

I'd suggest uninstalling the libraries from Control Panel, then restart Native Access. You should see that the library needs installing. Close Native Access and install the library you downloaded from the older library thread. Start Native Access again, check that it shows the library as installed. Load Kontakt 6 and 7, and make sure that the library is visible. Things should work after that.

So I uninstalled it, checked Native Acess and it claimed it needs installing. Then I went to install the older library again, and got this error:
Thanks again for all your help and quick replies!

Well that's possibly the dumbest error message in the history of dumb error messages!!
Can you copy the installed Strad library from your laptop to the PC? If you can do that you can use Native Access to locate the library. The option for that is by clicking the three dots under the Strad Violin.

I was gonna say, that error message seemed ridiculous to me as well 🤣.
I will give that a try next! Thank you once again!0
