My maschine won't go past the production and performance screen why is that?
Changed out multiple midi cords and still not working also did what the website said I should do in case it doesn't work but nothing has worked

Which Maschine?
Assuming you're trying to use it as a controller, you need to connect it to your computer with a USB cable, not a MIDI cable. Also you have to run the Maschine software to use the controller.
If it's a Maschine+ then do NOT connect the power supply before using it as a controller.
Certain Maschines are not supported in Maschine 3 software.

Is it directly connected or through an usb hub? If directly, have you tried another usb port? (I suppose so, since you even tried different cables)
Have you tried installing its drivers?
As PK said, is Maschine software open?
Last definitive tests: is MK3 recognized in Controller Editor. Or Is it working on another computer?
The website article you tried is this one?0 -
I had the same issue today and managed to fix it with a couple more steps needed in addition to point 5 of the NI article I linked in my previous post.
Have a look to what I wrote at 15:26 in this thread:
I really hope it’s your same issue and this will solve it 👍🏼
Btw: I also discovered that now M+ switches to controller mode from being off even with power supply connected. Now the behavior is the opposite: if M+ is USB plugged to a turned on computer, it can’t be started in Standalone
Edit: …and now it doesn’t work with power supply inserted anymore… it did for 3 consecutive times just few minutes ago… typical NI experience…
