    It does make sense, because the M+ can be used either standalone (which he referred to) or as a controller when plugged in to a computer via USB, at which point it's effectively a MK3.

    Yes it could be said that the "in standalone" part was not required because he said Maschine+ but I guess he was trying to be clear (which failed anyway because he only said Kontakt and not which version).

    I think NI will save aftertouch, for an MPE version of Maschine. I mean, I hope. Push has had MPE pads for 18 months now.

    It's not available in standalone mode. Can only use it within the software on the computer

    The tagged persons, and every M+ user following that discussion closely, know exactly what I‘m referring to, and I don’t see any reason why I would have to quote half a dozen posts to justify the above question to you.

    Short recap: In replying to users asking why Play Series instruments were made available for the MPC but not the M+, Matt claimed that the M+ was incapable of running Kontakt (which it already does), specifically Kontakt 8 (!), and that we‘ll never see Play Series on the Plus. Which is a complete contradiction to the above announcement.

    I just want to thank you for taking the time to keep us updated on the progress and what's being planned. It seems to me there's been a bit more regimen in your development planning which I think will begin to settle some of the anxiety from the introduction problems experienced in the initial MK3 launch. I just want to make it plain that there are those of us that are fairly new to the Kontrol keyboard line and are perfectly happy with the functionality as it exists. Since we have no previous expectations everything added is a plus for us. Just keep the communication channels open because that really helps a lot!!!

    And that is the case because… the M+ is still on Maschine 2, which doesn’t receive a custom chords update.

    imagine being able to easily set a simple ramp or sine curve for a synth param (a filter cutoff perhaps!), it would be so very helpful to be able to do this from the controller

    people have been talking about this for YEARS… notably there is already some kind of ability to record CCs (only from Maschine HW but not from external midi for some reason sigh)

    Rather than spending months/years to redesign the whole concept of your automation containers, could you please do something more pragmatic and quick like letting us record external midi CCs or make some generic assignable LFOs that could even be recordable to aid generation of some smooth lines/curves within the current pattern setup.

    PLEASE don’t ignore this topic for another year

    am not even asking for a solution to record track mutes on a master, just a way to reliably write curves/lines for synth parameters within the current patterns

    Remember they never break there promises when they say coming soon it will. Afterwards they will have a patch coming soon to get it work like kontakt should work.. but they will keep there promise tho it coming soon..

    By the way after the name announcement they said machine + update will be in a few weeks.. the word few is less than 3 so this week.
