Recommend 1TB SD Card for. Maschine Plus in 2025

Hello Maschine heads! I just recently received my new Maschine Plus. What is the best recommended 1TB SD card? I also have downloaded expansion packs on the original 64 gig SD card and I would like to know the best way to transfer that info onto a new 1TB card? Do I have to strat over by downloading those packs again install to the new card?

Any suggestions on the best card and how to get the downloaded content on the new card would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Get a good quality card from a well known brand and a reliable reseller. Avoid micro SD with adapter, always go for a full sized SD card model. I successfully use this card model:

SanDisk Extreme PRO 256GB SDXC UHS-I V30 U3 (200 MB/s)

AFAIR, some users reported problems with 1TB cards which did not occur on 512GB cards.

Thanks! I ended up order the Sandisk extreme 512GB. Will I be able to download and re-install the instruments and expansions on the new SD ?

Yes, after formatting the card on the M+, it’s recognized and all missing content is offered for installation.
