Why No SH 101 Style Auto-Step Sequencer???
IMO on top of any list for Maschine would be an auto-step sequencer - the kind you find on the SH-101, many Korg synths, etc. Because of the inherent limitation of the step sequencer functionality in Maschine to function like most synth step sequencers i.e. choose a step > press the desired note on pads or external midi keyboard/pads, it seems an auto-step sequencer mode is all the more needed. E.g. Set it to auto-step sequence mode > using the pads in keyboard mode or external midi device, add the notes > skip steps, if desired, in the function menu via a knob. Why has this basic function not been added yet? Seems like a no-brainer.
